DRINK UP

First things first: this beer isn't actually real. It's the brainchild of Jose Guizar, a Mexican designer, and based on the popular character of Lucha Libre. But if it were real, we'd drink it in a second.

Noki Okay

Our favorite dude in London has a cool website.

“At its most obvious, Noki custom mounts a challenge, a symbolic critique or even a form of resistance, against mainstream, mass-market, homogenous and depersonalised commodity fashion.”

Wow. Sounds kind of culty, right? There are definite undertones of anarchy to the UK DIY fashion label DR NOKI, and we kind of dig it. Recycling and mish-mashing vintage pieces, DR NOKI is reinventing the idea of couture one-of-a-kind garments, and they’re looking for brandless foot soldiers to walk their walk.

The brand was created in 1995 after reading and being fully inspired by Kalle Lasn’s book, Culture Jam, in which Lasn prophesied that consumerism will be the downfall of the world (great excuse not to get your girlfriend that Prada bag for Valentine’s Day). The brand has since made colorful waves standing by their chopped and slashed one off garments.
